Overview
GCN connects professional pickleball athletes with brands. We want the community to remain respectful, safe, and professional for everyone. These Community Guidelines ("Guidelines") are part of and expressly incorporated into GCN's TOS. By using the Platform, you agree to these Guidelines.
Rules
- Respect Each Other: Do not engage in harassment, bullying, stalking, doxing, or deceptive conduct toward any Athlete, Brand representative, or other User.
- Be Yourself: Athletes and Brand representatives must use their own identity on GCN. Impersonation, fake accounts, and deepfakes are prohibited.
- Age Eligibility: Users must be at least 18 years old.
- Don't Break the Law: No content or conduct involving fraud, illegal goods or services, or activity that violates applicable law or FTC guidance.
- Don't Break the Platform: No hacking, scraping, or introduction of malicious code.
- No Hate Speech: Content that attacks or discriminates against individuals or groups based on a protected attribute is strictly prohibited.
- Non-Discrimination in Matching: Brands may not request, and Athletes may not be excluded from, campaign consideration based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic. Selection criteria must be based on legitimate factors such as audience fit, category, content style, and availability. Athletes may exclude categories of business they do not wish to work with, such as alcohol, gambling, tobacco, firearms, or supplements. Those are category preferences and are permitted; they may not be used as a proxy for a protected characteristic.
- No Violence: Content depicting, glorifying, or threatening violence is prohibited.
- No Sexually Explicit Content: Nudity or sexual content, and any sexualization of minors, is strictly prohibited and will be reported to law enforcement where appropriate.
- No Off-Platform Circumvention: All Brand campaigns and payments must be conducted through GCN. Neither Brands nor Athletes may solicit, propose, or agree to move a transaction off-Platform to avoid GCN's fees or commission. This applies equally to both sides of a deal, and applies whether or not the proposal originated with you. Report any such request to support@pickleballdealroom.com.
- Content Integrity: Athletes must not make false, misleading, or undisclosed sponsored statements in violation of FTC Endorsement Guides.

Enforcement
GCN may, in its sole discretion, respond to violations by warning a User, removing content, suspending or terminating an account, or referring conduct to law enforcement, as appropriate. Before suspending or terminating an account for a first non-egregious violation, GCN will normally give written notice and an opportunity to cure. GCN may act immediately and without prior notice where conduct involves fraud, threats to safety, sexual content involving minors, a security incident, or a credible legal demand.
Account Suspension, Reinstatement, and Appeals
GCN may suspend an account for violating these Guidelines. Suspended Users may request reinstatement or appeal an enforcement decision by contacting support@pickleballdealroom.com from the email address associated with their account. Decisions are made on a case-by-case basis and reinstatement is not guaranteed. GCN will acknowledge an appeal within five (5) business days and give a written decision within thirty (30) days. Amounts already earned by a suspended Athlete for campaigns completed and approved before the suspension remain payable and will be released on the normal payout schedule, less any amount GCN is entitled to withhold for fraud or chargeback under the Platform Services Agreement.
