Frequently asked

How the Deal Room actually works.

The questions athletes and brands ask us most. If we missed yours, the team is one click away.

For Athletes

For athletes.

Is it free for athletes to join?

Yes. Free signup, free profile, free to apply to gigs. The platform only earns when you do — we take a platform fee on each completed deal, and nothing before that.

How long until I get approved?

Most athletes are reviewed within 48 hours. We look at competitive ranking, content history, and fit with current brand demand.

When do I get paid?

You sign the deal terms first, then do the work and submit your content. When the brand approves it, they pay and your payout releases to your Stripe account automatically — usually within 2 business days.

Do I have to accept every gig?

No. You set your rates and your open niches. Anything outside those, you can decline with no penalty.

Can I work with brands I find on my own?

Of course. The Deal Room is additive. You can run any deal through the platform for the contract and payment protection, or keep direct deals direct.

What does the platform take?

A flat platform fee, deducted from the deal amount — so your payout is the agreed amount less that fee. Rates are subject to change, so we do not publish them here: sign up and the current rate, plus your exact net on every deal, is shown before you sign anything and on your payouts page.

For Brands

For brands.

How do I find the right athlete?

Browse the approved roster by niche, audience, and campaign fit. Send a direct offer to a specific athlete or post a gig and review who applies.

When do you charge me?

Only after the terms are signed and you approve the final content. The athlete does the work first — you review it, approve, and pay, and their payout releases automatically. You are never charged for work you do not approve.

What if the content isn't what we agreed to?

You can request a revision before approving. If it can't be resolved, Deal Room agents step in. You are not charged until you approve the content.

What's the difference between a microGIG and a full sponsorship?

microGIG is one-shot UGC or a quick deliverable — usually one piece of content, fast turn. Full sponsorships are ongoing partnerships (ambassador roles, season-long deals, tournament kit).

Can we work with the same athlete more than once?

Yes. Repeat deals are easy — same athlete, new terms, same payment protection. Your billing page tracks all of it in one place.

Do you offer agency support or is it self-serve?

Both. You can self-serve through the platform end to end. For larger campaigns, the Godfather agency team can run it for you.

Still have a question?

Talk to the agency directly.

For account or deal support, reply to any platform email or contact your agency lead.
